In the middle of the night, the crew hears a splash, and cries for help.
Zoro jumps in and fishes out Carrot
Carrot smuggled herself on board, but got hungry and ate one of Nami's mikans in the middle of the night
However, the Mikan tasted so bad, that she tripped and fell off the ship
For some reason, even though she's a good swimmer, Carrot wasn't able to swim, and just sank
Carrot suddenly realizes that she ate the Snow-Snow Fruit, Monet's fruit, as snow begins to fall around her
Tama tried to sneak on board, too, but got in the wrong barrel
Law screams as Tama leaps out of a barrel, then swears a crying Tama out as he takes her back to Wano

It will pick back up soon. A giant arc just ended, and people are burnt out from arguing/being wrong/Wano being a wreck toward the end.
Once we get a big bounty reveal, or a big character comes back, things will pick up. No idea why Oda wanted to slow the story down to this point right before the Final Arc. The panels of Momo running around hurt me. Kinemon and Yamato did so much for Luffy, and their farewells were sidelined to focus on fucking Momo.
People need some time to wash the taste of the end of Wano out of their mouths.
