Here is how exact statement. He stated that people are still pretending that bounty is directly indicative of strength as if the opposite hasn't been proven countless times. That's his statement.

It's vague since in this chapter shows bounty as a reflection of strength. The only exception is buggy. Hence why I stated his argument in reference to this chapter was vague and silly.
the chapter also doesnt show its a reflection of strength

what are you talking about
usopp 500 mil ?
buggy 3.2 bil

robin 938

enough exceptions and you will realize again bounties and ones strength isnt 1 to 1 . am sure you think kidd and law being at 3 bil is an exception too. how many "exceptions" do you have to see to realize he and the author are teling you the same thing. its hard to scale one's bounty to their strength perfectly.

this isnt some hidden plot to downplay mihawk's bounty, he very well could even be stronger than his worth implies , he has a lot more going for him than just those figures. rest.

This isn't dragonball where bounty indicates power level. It's more complicated than that. Oda's known to assign unusual bounties from time to time like the one he gave Buggy and Robin even though we all know it has nothing to do with their fighting capabilities.

Read. I stated that buggy and robin were the only exceptions. Chopper and ussop as well.

Mihawk, zoro sanji jinbe crocodile etc are all in reference to actual strength

In the series of one piece there are more times in which bounties are a reflection of strength that when it's not a reflection of strength

more of a biased opinion than a fact
the bounties dont scale perfectly to the strength for every single character in there
the best it does is give you an idea .
That's the point. It gives you an idea most of the time.

When Kat was shown with a billion bounty we got an idea of how strong he was.

When Jack got a billion bounty we got an idea of how strong he was.

Same with the other commanders etc.

Only seldom times in the one piece has it not been the case
