But he really doesn't hold influence like yonkou or fleet admiral.
Mihawk being the same don't really hold the influence but on that level for sure.

I agree with you and honestly the only reason I think Mihawk is over shanks is Shanks lost that arm. I think they are equal but losing the ability to swing with both arms on the sword lessened shanks power in my eyes.

Also can we take a minute to imagine the amount of haki blooms they got out of fighting each other repeatedly while both being top tiers.

The thing is that, what we know about them is there was not a victor between them and i will stay by this until oda clears things up.
I am not really into shanks vs Mihawk ship but i did find it ridiculous and beyond my understanding all the hate that Mihawk has been taking all those years while he is literally one of the three people in one piece that has a title with the world strongest in it.

I question the likelihood of BB being the final antagonist, precisely because Shiryu doesn't actually seem like Zoro's final antagonist (no Black Blade, subpar/cheap trick DF, was rivaled to only be "as strong as Magellan"). Of course he'll be strong, probably above King, just doubt he's at all Zoro's last opponent lol, and in turn the rest of BBs crew

Bbp would never be the final antagonist the series end with the defeat of the world government

The one thing holding Zoro vs Mihawk back was Mihawk not having a role in the story but that got fixed with Cross Guild

Even with all that. The idea that Mihawk who mastered the sword can't cut diamond always had flaws. Wano only made it clear but people should have known better
