Crocodile got outright defeated by Luffy without almost any of his current arsenal of power ups and look at him now. Kind of need to put that aside, methinks. Man legit had everyone in Impel Down running from him, even Crocodile and Jinbei, defeated Luffy, defeated the Blackbeard Pirates, and only went down after Shiryu saved the Blackbeard Pirates and teamed up with them to attack him. If he's not in the top tier he's incredibly close.

The fact “Skill” finally was said already damning enough… Ztards have literally pretend for the last decade “sword skill” irrelevant in one piece.

It's what people counted as skills. Examples - zoro's no sword style counts as a swords skill, kaku's legs acting as his swords counts as a sword skill, cabaji using acrobatics and unicycle counts as swords skills,brooks ice counts as a sword skill, zoro's advanced haki counts as his swords skills etc. But the shanks side would say these aren't part of swordsmen nor there skills and would but called something ridiculous like "sword welder" or "sword user". Sword skills in op aren't literal only how you use a swords but the abilities that you can apply with a sword counts as swords skills. What people like you were acting like "sword skills" is literally only being able to swing a sword and nothing else which is what me and people on the other side argue against. Like haki is part of a swordsman sword skill and there's still people that say it's not.

From my experience, your average power scaler on WG is far smarter than most OP analysts who pretend like they know what they're talking about online.

I agree, people here tend to have more knowledge about the series. The issue is we all get caught up in our unreal biases.

Can Buggy beat Blackbeard in a fight? No. But, do I want to convince myself that Buggy can Awaken his Fruit and do serious damage to Blackbeard? Yes.

One chapter of Mihawk hype and suddenly everyone thinks he can beat Shanks, the Yonkou Luffy said he wants to fight last. If Luffy fights Shanks, and Zoro fights Mihawk, there's no way Oda will make Mihawk stronger than Shanks. Hype makes us crazy.
