Lets analyze this. This line of reasoning works for certain feats and not others. Yasop is said the be the greatest marksmen. Marksmanship is ability to hit your target. Does this mean he is the best gun fighter? Not necessarily. Gun fighting is a broader category that takes more into account then aim. So Yassop is a better marksmen the Beckmen but Beckmen is stronger then Yassop in a fight.

I Mihawk was known as the worlds greatest cutter then you would have a point. But no. He's known as the WSS. This determined by wining sword fights. Marksmenship would be determined by target shooting. No an all out fight to the death

There's no difference between strongest and best swordsman

EOS zoro is stronger than eos law because in order for zoro to achieve his goal he need to be stronger than every swordmen like law and mihawk and many more.

Law is not aiming for the WSS though.. So he's not only a swordsman..

that dumb answer to me lol because zoro will sit above all swordmen even shanks because oda said mihawk he looks forward to the day a swordmaster will emerge to surpass even his rival red-Haired shanks.

l'd be wary to use this if i were you cause the lesser Shanks swordsmanship is, the more likely he is to be more powerful than Mihawk..

so let me clear things out :

Mihawk trains Zoro the way of sword / swordmanship so Zoro could beat him , and that only happens if Zoro got stronger than Mihawk.

So Mihawk trains Zoro to get far stronger by improving his sword skills .

so Sword skills =Strength .

Now what did Zoro improve from his sword skills ?

THE ONLY FLASH BACK WE GOT FOR ZORO'S TRAINING IS HIM GETTING TRAINED FOR HAKI .

His sword skills remained the same , the same moves are getting shown but with better strength .

Now let's conclude what we have here :

Zoro asked Mihawk to train him the way of sword so he could get stronger and beat him mihawk and he could be said to surpass him :

Trained under the way of sword / Swordmanship = Trained his Haki = Fighting Mihawk = Surpassing him .

that's what canon offered now keep coping .
