I know a lot of people are sick of luffy getting beaten, but I honestly don’t see Luffy beating Blackbeard outright.
Blackbeard is Luffys final obstacle before getting to Raftel and if Blackbeard defeats Shanks, who’s haki just seems better than Luffys, then luffy has no chance against Blackbeard currently.
As such, Luffy is going to get a new power up to actually overtake Blackbeard, namely the Will of D.
Kaido merely guessed what allowed Roger to conquer the seas and since Kaido knew Roger had no fruit, he assumed it was from Haki. However, it’s likely a power very few have, a power related to the D.
As of now we know have a few hints as to what this power will, be and I think the biggest hint is the phrase that keeps getting reiterated “The D will always cause a storm.”
And as for who’ll teach him, Monkey D. Dragon seems like the best person to train Luffy since he’s so strongly connected to Storms and very likely he gained the knowledge of this will of D causing his revolution.
