As you can see Zoro skillfully performs the same moves in both cases, but the firepower is different due to haki.
From that we conclude the WSS title is mainly based on haki

The point here is Zoro making the same moves as pre-ts, he got physical boost, better swords but it is haki.
There's nothing called greatest haki, but you need great haki to compete.
Shanks is handicapped, worse sword and outskilled, without his special haki he gets the Daz Bones treatment.

There's no point in comparing that in OP world. It's not like swordplay is explored in OP. Among the top brass what matters is swords + haki

I mean, no. An opponent with weaker haki can still surpass someone with stronger haki, hence 'haki blooms' (which in my opinion is more of a plot device for Luffy, but there's also nothing saying Zoro can't experience a haki bloom in his fight against Mihawk). Again, Zoro doesn't just grow in haki, but also in physical strength. And while he hasn't learned many new techniques, that doesn't mean he hasn't improved the quality of the techniques that he does know.

It seems like to be WSS
Most importantly your CoC needs to be stronger than every other swordsman

Then your CoA needs to be stronger than every other swordsman

Then your physical strength
Then CoO and Speed
Then skills

Yes, that is the point of a haki bloom. After all, Luffy was able to surpass katakuri' CoA with his inferior CoA because of haki blooms.

Yeah, I'm not going to make things up based on facts that have yet to come to frution in the manga. I'm not going around saying 'Sanji has ACoC and you know it' because it has yet to be revealed in the story. Its a fucking garbage example that completely ignores my point.
Using "He hasn't shown CoC" arguments to downplay the idea that mihawks CoC is above Shanks and swordsmanship is about CoC is nonsense since Mihawk has never been fleshed out.

But the swordsman that has been fleshed out and is actively trying to surpass Mihawk has his latest fighting style all about CoC.

Give an example that's comparable like rocks or Garp or at worst dragon to use people whose stature is comparable to mihawk. Not a pathetic no body like sanji with no ambition and value to the world.
