General & Others Marineford remade in the new art style

Marine ford with the old art style, but with better pacing, would be amazing. But I don't know if I want to see marine ford re done in the strobing yellow flash light disco show of the new art style. Like, imagine what the fuck they'll do to the already Yellow and flashy Kizaru....
A better art style would be, the style of the re done marine ford scenes in episode 957. The episode with the super buff Whitebeard back, the cool shot of Warlords, Navy, pirates, Drake being cool for once and the amazing shot of Boa.
So basically what I'm saying is, Better pacing and Ishitani level direction

Megumi Ishitani directed Marineford episodes would be out of this world. She frames the series in a realistic sense that is still consistent with the goofy world. And with how Marineford was the darkest point of the series, she could do wonders with the setting that sells it as the terrible war it was supposed to be.

The only major shift in design philosophy came between Koizumi(whose designs were better precisely because they were more playful) and Kazuya Hisada. Midori Matsuda, the current character designer, is more competent than Hisada was in terms of their character designs, but its still largely a continuation of the sort of the designs in modern one piece, and is reminiscent of the detailed style from One Piece movie character designer Masayuki Sato.

Old one seems more real. New one seems more cartoon.
How is the bottom one more cartoony?
Also, the bottom one is the art style of Katsumi Ishizuka, someone who has worked on the series over the course of 20 years and at some points was pretty much the face of the art direction of the series, being the animation director for Openings during Thriller Bark.
Yes, his style has evolved over the years, but I'd hardly say "more cartoony" is the way to describe the evolution of Ishizuka's style.
Not to say more cartoony is bad, but the top image is definitely more "cartoony" with its proportions. Look for example at how big the eyes are in comparison to the bottom image, or the length of Zoro and Sanji's necks being much longer in the top image than the bottom. So again, what are you talking about???
