Looks like Barca is closing in on neymar deal.

There are reports barca offered two players+125 million €

Possibility of ivan rakitic and dembele going to psg is very high.

Might get more news the deal is still uncertain asof now but barcelona chief has cleared the air the ongoing agreement is very positive .

Barca need worry about their jelly defence and mid than sign neymar. Over rely on messi and if he has an off day they almost certainly lose.
Ya they are desperate to find messis successor. Also real madrid getting involved has become sort of pride stuff for catalans.

Already barca fans wants barteameu and valverde out because of poor champions league outing.

Messi and suarez are old now especially they bought griezmann to replace suarez.

Barca are in desperate of cl glory . Also adding to it lot of youth players like vincius, rodrigo choose madrid over barca has put them in a bother.

I doubt Dembele will go

Let me put it this way
Their starting from 3 would be Griezmann, Suarez, God himself - right?
Well, Dembele can play in all 3 positions as back up
They've sold Malcom to Zenit St. Petersburg and loaned Coutinho to Bayern Munich
Their next best attacking options are Carles Perez, who is decent, but not the "Barcelona" standard, and Ansu Fati, who is 16.

Rakitic makes sense as PSG lack midfield depth. They only have Verratti, Gueye, Herrera and Paredes for the two central positions, that leaves very little room for rotation and injuries - they're well stocked for CAM with Di Maria, Draxler and Sarabia (all can also play on the wings) to be fair. Barca also have a lot of midfielders with Busquets, Arthur, Rakitic, Vidal, Rafinha, Alena and players like Roberto and Messi who can jump into midfield when required. Rakitic is expendable, and PSG need a midfielder as Nkunku (Leipzig), Rabiot (Juventus) and Krychowiak (Lokomotiv Moscow) have all left and a couple of their guys are injury prone

I suppose Neymar replaces Dembele but then Barca haven't got the phylogeny or depth of a brilliant youngster in that attacking lineup. In 3 years time all their attackers would be over 30 or retired

Its toss. Theres no defensive cover at all. Busquets doesnt have the legs and rakatic was awful.
They literally have two of the best CDMs in the world: De Jong and Busquets
They have pass masters Arthur and Rakitic
Messi and Griezmann can play CAM, Rafinha is a backup CAM
they have Vidal who can play CAM, CM and CDM
Sergi Roberto can play CM and CDM

All of them are world class players except Vidal and Roberto, but those two are still excellent

Literally the best starting XI midfield in the world after Man City imo

A lot of people fail to realise Henderson and Milner are world class players too and the Liverpool system is perfect to play against teams like Barca who hold possession and fanny about with the ball for 80% of the time.

Liverpool have the most underrated midfield in the world. It only takes 3 or 4 matches for people to realise that.
-You literally can't get Wijnaldum off the ball.
-Henderson has the 2nd best passing stats in the EPL after KDB, and he's ahead of guys like David Silva, Granit Xhaka, Jorginho etc. all of whom are regarded as world class passers
-Milner is arguably the best box to box midfielder in the world after Pogba, Modric, Matuidi and Goretzka
-Then there's Fabinho, who, statistically speaking, was the best performing CDM in the UCL last season and had better stats than all CDMs in the Europes top 5 leagues apart from Rodri and Gueye

Fucking hell your threshold for world class aint high at all. Henderson looks good in this system. Klopp is a world class manager. Salah and van dijk and the keeper are. Mane the two fullbacks and firminho are top players. The rest are hardworking players playing out of their skin with a manager who elevates them.

I judge players by their performances

Klopp turns guys world class and they stay world class when he leaves. Ya know, Reus, Hummels, Gundogan, Lewandowski etc.

That's just the level these guys play at

You don't win the UCL (unless by fluke) if you don't have an incredible team. Alisson, Mane, TAA, Robertson, Van Dijk, Firmino, Fabinho, Salah are all considered some of the best in their position, but Liverpool's midfield and Joel Matip make up nearly half of their personnel and yet never get any credit. Do you even watch them? Matip was playing like a god for the tail end of last season and the start this season. That's just his level now

People need to look at the now and not what a player used to be like

No i look at players like subotic sahin kagawa gotze mkhitarian etc system players who never hit the same heights ever again. They have world class players and some top ones and some hard working players and a world class coach.

Subotic, Gotze and Kagawa were fantastic for a while - you forget that two of them are pretty old players now and Gotze had his best years under Pep
