Questions & Mysteries Why no one ever thought about it? Rayleigh and Teach connection

So pretty simple, Rayleigh is Dark King and Teach has the Dark DF. Why no one related them as father and son?

Think about it, Rayleigh is Roger's right hand man. So they are very alike, thing similar etc...

Roger was a terrible father since he was so selfish to have a kid to keep his dream on but he killed himself because he didn't wanted to raise that kid.

Rayleigh did something similar but didn't killed himself since he wasn't going to die soon. And Teach is that kid.

Teach not only got the Dark DF which parallels his father being the Dark King but he also joined the biggest rival(not enemy) that Roger pirates ever had. Whitebeard pirates. And also he wants to become the biggest enemy Roger pirates ever had, Rocks pirates.

So that's it, enough connection for this to be true without complicating so much that Oda wouldn't be able to proccess.

When constructing these theories, you've really got to ask yourself: what would be the point of this? If this theory were true, would it elevate the story? Raise the stakes? Enrichen the world?

For me, the answers here are all no.

How about we instead focus on the actual story of the One Piece. We can create a thousand different filler plot lines based on character names. Let us be rational and actually ask ourselves, "does this plot line have anything to do with the one piece?".

Tell that to Oda. What he is doing to his story is not elevating, raising the stakes or enrichen the world.

So let's forget about SSG since has nothing to do with One Piece. Final War has nothing to do with it. Akainu, Koby, Sabo. Nothing to do with One Piece. Let's forget everything and go straigth to Laugh Tale and end the manga.

Nice argument.

1) They don't look alike in the slightest.
2) Rayleigh would have been there for his kid.

So no.
1) They don't have to look alike. Roger and Ace are not similar. Luffy and Dragon. Sabo and his dad.

2) Roger didn't was there for Ace. He killed himself. Dragon wasn't there he is tripping around the world. Yasopp didn't thought twice before leaving Usopp alone and even know he doesn't want to meet him.

Yes SSG is filler. Completely pointless subplot. Final War is not filler because it has to do with the one piece and void century. And yes we should be going to straight to laugh tale and end this 25 year old manga with over 1000+ chapters. This shit manga has over 1000+ chapters and yall still think it's too soon to find the one piece? Like what?

There is no good ending a manga with missing links. There is a lot of story besides One Piece that has to be told.

Even without this chapter, this thread is pure nonsense.
But not surprised coming from a ZKK believer. You live in another dimension after all.
Then explain Teach not fighting Rayleigh when Rayleigh himself said he couldn't beat them all.

Even Teach has standards and is not killing his own dad.

Teach overestimates Rayleigh based on his prime strength. He has seen him fight before in his prime and knows he is strong as F.

Teach knows Ray should be weaker now since he is old but he does not know how much strength he loss so he is not taking an unnecessary risk to fight him.

Unnecessary is my ass. He wants Boa Hancock's power. That is NECESSARY risk.
