Why are you guys acting like "Yonko" is some title given before bounties are given out?

Yonko has nothing to do with Bounties, in fact BB was called "Yonko" when he had 2.2 B. Public perception in the OP world is what determines who is regarded as an Emperor or not and having a 3.1 Billion bounty plays into that perception.

The logic here is false. People are regarded as Yonkos after achieving high bounties & accomplishments, they don't get high bounties because they are considered Yonkos as you people think.

Sir please do a brain checkup if you are saying buggy already have a bounty of 3.189billion before becoming an emperor

Nan Conq is also arguing that Buggy had his 3b+ bounty even before Cross Guild when it’s written the contrary all over the previous chapter

And about Mihawk bounty : what he brings to CG is obviously is strength alone mec but that doesn’t mean his new bounty doesn’t include the fact he is now part of the new cross guild threat

The "Emperor" title itself is based on public perception. There is no organization which gives out Emperor titles, it is what the people in the OP verse call the 4 most powerful pirates in the New World in terms of accomplishments, crews, territories, power etc,. That is how Buggy became a Yonko in the first place, people started calling him as such after they thought he had 3.1 Billion, Mihawk & Crocodile under his command, was part of the pirate king crew, rivals Shanks, masterminded Impel Down breakout etc,.

They call him an Emperor because he had that big bounty , they don't give him that big bounty because people call him an Emperor.

Luffy didn't get full credit for Impel Down, Buggy is still regarded as the mastermind of that breakout which is legit the first breakout since Shiki.

Like we know weaker characters or even some with less clout can have can have higher bounties. This is the first time its happened with a captain but i just think its a very rare case
