Nope, you're the one who needs to re-read the chapter. Brannew is asked "what are their bounties?" and he simply shows their bounties.
It makes no sense for their bounties to be adjusted for Cross Guild's formation and Buggy to still have a lesser bounty than Mihawk.

Im not gonna defend how oda has handled her at all but i still think shes supposed to be portrayed as behind just whitebeard and kaido in oda's head

Buggy does which is likely why they believe hes in charge of mihawk and crocodile but i don't think bounties are that simple. Like we know weaker characters or even some with less clout can have can have higher bounties. This is the first time its happened with a captain but i just think its a very rare case

Like luffy got credit for enies lobby and im pretty sure the 400 boost involved impel down. Like i think luffy probably should have gotten more but the marines thought differently

At this point just read last chapter : it was clearly said that Buggy had 3b because he managed to tame those two men and became a immense threat to the WG
They even said Cross Guild will be a massive threat to them.
And narrative wise it doesn’t make sense at all for Buggy to be 3b even before being a Yonko while all the other Yonko get a raise to be 3b at the same time

And I just think that this rare case will also be corrected in the future. It's just that Oda showed us the non-adjusted bounties last chapter like a lot of people speculated.
Unless Mihawk killed some Admiral or something.. I doubt it changes.
Luffy didn't get full credit for Impel Down, Buggy is still regarded as the mastermind of that breakout which is legit the first breakout since Shiki.

Why are you guys acting like "Yonko" is some title given before bounties are given out?
Yonko has nothing to do with Bounties, in fact BB was called "Yonko" when he had 2.2 B. Public perception in the OP world is what determines who is regarded as an Emperor or not and having a 3.1 Billion bounty plays into that perception.
The logic here is false. People are regarded as Yonkos after achieving high bounties, territories, crews & accomplishments, they don't get high bounties because they are considered Yonkos as you people think.
