Her joining won't make chopper any worse if that's what you're afraid of. If anything, her and choppers chobro dynamic would make chopper a little better. He would have to lead her and guide her instead of being a cute mascot merch sell.
Also, her joining and learning the true history and stuff would make her grow so much. She won't be the same cute bunny for long. She will mature as she travels with the crew. She won't be maturing or atleast we won't see any of it if she doesn't join.
