The thing with the book is we are given info from two sources a maestar & a dwarf with varying accounts lol. As in the overall story is the same however the particulars of who was at fault for certain stuff between ppl widely differed lol. While the show is apparently gonna give us the correct version.

So even for folks who've read the book, the series is really a make or break on some characters.
