Not sure why Carrot would want to stay hidden for that long. I think it’s safe to say at this point that Carrot is not hiding in some barrel and is not on the ship.

That's assuming she's even hidden, could very well be a reveal that she showed herself a few days ago.

You should never say, "it's safe to say" unless there's something absolutley concrete. It was "safe to say" that Yamato was joining back at 1056 and we all know how that turned out.
