Every single Wano straw hat candidate had their fate not only confirmed, but were shown happy with and it was their own choice.

Kin emon: Finally met his wife again and is sticking by Momo's side as guidance - Couldn't ask for better
Tama: Can finally eat proper food again in a free Wano all whilst training to become a kunoichi. She was even given an offer to join the crew in the future - Couldn't ask for better
Momo: Became shogun and has a legion of loyal advisors and guardians to assist him. Hates to see the crew go, but has Yamao instead - Very happy
Yamao: Has a place where she belongs, protecting the people she cares about with an offer to join the crew in the future - Very happy
Carrot: Was randomly told that she is to become the ruler of an ancient nation at the age of 15 despite having not the knowledge, strength and minimal experience to do so - She was apprehensive and was never shown accepting the position

Carrot's reaction and the sheer absurdity of the ruler offer suggests that there would be some kind of different outcome. Otherwise he could've just had her be happy and accepting of her fate to begin with.
