Yeah, I don't see this happening. Ever, really. There hasn't been much of anything that would warrant such a decision from him and I don't expect there to be anything like that in this chapter either.

Zoros dragon twister Attack + Luffy is never going to face another swordsman in the series except for Zoro. otherwise it would make Kaidous comment here "still weak to slashing attacks" useless". Oda has to justify Zoro fighting a high diff battle with Gear 5 Luffy somehow.

They head back to Wano a year or two later (only several chapters later for us), and then they pick up Yamato, Momo, Kinnemon and Tama.

That'd be such a troll move on Oda's part after writing Yamato out the way he did. I'd love to see it.

It already happened during the first part of the Grand Line to Arabasta arc when Luffy thought Zoro attacked the people who fed them for no reason

I don't think of Yamato as a character but Kinemon is a badass and Tama is Nakama. So whatever.
