In Punk hazard they split up before getting into the island. A group went to investigate and then the ones left into the sunny got captured.

Luffy can beat Zoro, but I doubt Oda will make Zoro looks bad.
Even if it's a conclusive battle then it'll be above high diff and Luffy will be in bad shape as well.
Zoro fam don't mind him losing, but waiting to see how far he measures up to his captain
