I think it's a great idea. It's not the same as a "theory" so should have it's own thread. It could be fun to post "what if" scenarios and guess the outcomes.

we don't need an entire section for them unless there's a massive amount of content

also "what if" contents and theories aren't the same thing

Just make a prefix for the applicable sections, not an entirely new section
