Cause, it's much more interesting for a character we care about, that has goals and ambitions of their own, to die than a character we care about but doesn't have any goals or purpose in the story at all.

Law dying would be a huge deal. But I do believe he's not gonna die. I'm saying there's a decent chance he might.

Not only that but also Big Mom’s poneglyph, and when they defeat Law they’ll get their hands on the Zou and Wano ones; which leaves only the last one and in my opinion fighting for that last one will be one of the highlights of the Luffy/BB conflict

it's 1v1 and again Law is fucked.
I really don't see him taking on BB.
even if he uses awakening. Law has no counter to Gura gura or even yami yami.
