-Zoro was just talking shit like he always does. Characters talk shit all the time and not do what they said.
-Thats was all assumptions that Orochi was strong. It was mines too with yall back at orojackson, but we was wrong. We hyped our self up.
-Agreed that fight was trash.
-agreed
I mean yeah but Zoro rounded up samurai would have been compelling writing and rewarding readers who have followed Zoro as a character. It was disappointing that it never happened.

It would have been compelling writing if after how much Oda hyped up Wano prior, highest ranking military officer of Wano Kuni a country even Marines are cautious of, would have a bad ass design and would be strong. Its disappointing that it wasn't.

It was never stated that Oda was talking specifically about Wano.

It's just a fake news.
Yeah, as i remember, in some interview he refering the marine war will look small is for the final war. Like "Im surprised that Marineford is really popular, I dont know how people will handle the final chapter" or something like that.

But the editor overhyping Wano arc is true. And this lead to huge disappoinment.

I hate those hacks so much, but not as big as the one who greenlight stampade.

Also if you have some free time can you please translate this for me @Den_Den_Mushi

Just for future reference
I literally have no idea what’s happening here but from what I can gather @Paperchampion23 , Stephen Paul’s/Viz translation is correct. It depends on how you structure the sentence.

カイドウに「唯一傷」をつけた伝統の刀
The legendary blade that gave Kaido his only scar.

カイドウに唯一「傷をつけた伝統の」刀
The legendary blade, the only one to have ever scarred Kaido.

If Stephen Paul/Viz went with the latter then I suppose that’s that, although I do see where you’re coming from. Personally I’d also go with the latter to place the emphasis on the blade, not the scar given that it makes more sense in context.
