Haha thanks I love underated characters especially when they are realy strong and their portrayal is off the roof .
Kid have insane portrayal and I like the facts that he is not scared of killing but he still is a great captain respected by his crew (They don't fear him they respect him) (HIs link with his partner and best friend Killer is the best)
Very well said. I love that he cares about his crew and they all laughed with Killer to make him feel less like a freak/victim/misfit etc and that he's still one of them as always.
Kidd and Killer have that amazing Luffy and Zoro bromance/captain amd vice captain ride or die, loyal to death type relationship, blood brothers or so.
Kidd is very tough but he subtly shows a much more gentle/caring side and he's a lot like Vegeta who turned out to be very caring/protective and truly a pro masculine role model and great man/father/husband too.
I adored Vegeta even though I hated him initially, his character development has been fantastic utterly and Bakugo of MHA and Eustass Kidd give me similar vibes.
I find underdogs and delinquents, edgy, rougher, less luckier/plot armoured/blessed characters to be far more interesting, relatable, grounded, endearing too.
There's a wonderful boyish nerdy nature to Kidd too but also a mature man, who is realistic and not so idealistic. He's very pure, not two faced/backstabbing or so, no mind games or such.
Ive known people like this IRL and online and they are like roses, sharp and prickly but with a hidden, gentle beauty when they bloom and thus open up.
They are very loyal and true to you and themselves especially, no nonsense usually.
Killer vs Hawkins was so good and I loved he utilised Kidds missing arm to win against Hawkins HAX powers lol. Killer is an understated genius and a perfect foil but also compliment to Kidds chaotic brutishness.
Kidd is also heavily underrated as an inventor/mechanic/roboteer or whatever. Just looking at his childhood drawing by Oda, his personal interests, fighting style, devil fruit etc he and Franky SHOULD be BFFS or friendly rivals for life at least or maybe I dare say brothers too?
Red Oni Blue Oni comes to mind too like Shanks and Buggy too.
