From what I recall Ace couldn’t turn into his logia element from the moment BB used vorex. Once it’s initiated I think your df immediately gets cancelled if that wasn’t the case pre time skip no reason to believe his mastery over yami fruit wouldn’t improve.

His reckless attitude hasn't changed but he's more careful now with his abilities. I agree this isn't comparable to Magellan or even Hancock for that matter. He can't afford to be careless with Hancock, coz it'd be a one-shot if he did. BB has more leverage with Law.

I actually think BB have at least 2 personality for me he have his clumbsy one but vs Ace at 1 time he begun had a sinister smile and beat him up tanking his attacks with a smile and stuff.
There is more to BB then we have been shown .

Possible. What I am saying is BB isn't exactly a good fighter for us to be elevating Big Mom because Law is performing well against him. BB's raw fighting stats are worse off than Big Mom.
