Theres no way Oda isn't actively self aware of the sheer "hop-ium" for Carrot to join and isn't trolling the fuck out of the the fanbase with the barrel shit and that fucking turbine too, that was WAY too blatant with the rabbit ears on that thing, he may as well say it outright at that point!
After what happened with Naito though, I'm still adamant that Oda changed his plans for Carrot and holds off on her joining due to that BUT I may be wrong ofc, I've been wrong MANY times before and still will be in future too ofc!

Preach. She did get a LOT of love, development, screentime and such at WCI especially, Oda literally spent YEARS on her IRL giving her a TON of screentime but then he completely abandoned her at Wano, just humiliating her and making her offscreen for almost the entire arc, barely having a role so it doesnt make any sense either.
I still dont know why he couldnt have had her and Yamato join too, its not like he cares about giving the SHs proper screentime and especially development now too?
Usopp at Wano is one of the biggest tragedies too, along with Carrots and Yamatos handling by Oda sigh. Also how much we didn't learn about Zoro at Wano and such too.
