Honestly I'm only reading OP for cool fights, badass moments and Zoro (but mostly the last one). So even if Oda sacrificed some high potential characters at the altar of Zoro wank I would welcome it with open arms.

From a powerscaling POV, I think Kata could solo the Tobi Roppo, so King probably can as well.

I'd rather not have Oda use cheap tools like that to highlight Zoro. His problem so far is the fact every opponent he's faced has been easy for him. Making comments like that perpetuates Zoro's problem and removes interesting characters for the sake of a pre established "bad ass".

Don't do this. Sanji clearly stated that his reasoning for staying behind and endangering the entire plan was to take out a strong force of the enemy to make the final battle easier.
