It seems as if Kid was a character Oda originally had big plans for but then changed his mind. Really would have liked it if we got this backstory in the manga.
Oda should allow for more spin off series, especially when he glosses over large parts of his world like this. Would have loved to see a Eustass Kid special chapter or something drawn by another artist covering this backstory, rather than just have it given in an SBS.

I said it more than once but Sanji makes no sense. If the Vinsmokes can use their ability without the suit so should Sanji become invisible without a suit... And if he could it won't make sense as well... Cuz how could you ENHANCE the invisibility of Sanji through as suit?
Further this brings up the question. Who Ichiji and Co used their powers WITHOUT their suits to break up from the table?
