Looks like my theory that Devil Fruit abilities, were normal abilities before becoming Devil Fruits just gained a little bit more traction.
Here we have Jinbei's Seraphim, A fishman, with manipulated LIneage factor being able to swim through physical objects.
Senor Pink has a Devil Fruit, that allows him to do the same thing.
The implications of this is that 900 years ago, all FIshman possessed this ability, but somehow lost it over time. (Perhaps by placing them inside a devil fruit) Vegapunk, through manipulating Jinbei's Lineage Factor, was able to unlock it with Seraphim Jinbei, much like how Judge was able to give all his kids, devil fruit like abilities, via lineage factor manipulation.
