Yamato wouldn't her base ap is so trash that even AdvCoC didn't boost her capabilities that much, she needed to blindside Ulti to K.O her and that wasn't even for that long.
If King plays the defense game, then sure, he can just sit there all day long with flames on. But to compete with Yamato, he needs to keep his flames off, and his durability is trash without his flames. Second he turns off those flames, Yamato steamrolls him.

She doesn't steamroll shit. King is not Queen or some mere Flying Six. He's Kaido's RHM.

She loses to him.

I love how Sanji thinks it is Jimbe and still doesn't give a fuck to kill him. Even if he failed. But Jinbe is No 3 after all. 4th if we include Yamato

Sanji > Your favourite Numero 3. Whoever it is.

But well... He can be glad that Robo Jinbe had no flame on or he would he roasted.
Franky >>>
Radical Beam would have roasted SeraJinbe

And Yamato's Conquerors Coating was clashing with Kaido's, who is a certified Top Tier. Whatever King withstood from Zoro is irrelevant.
clashing physical hits is irrelevant when the best she could do is give him a single drop of blood. If that's all she can muster with her strongest attack she isn't doing any meaningful damage to king.

Law did more damage to Kaido pre-awakening than yamato ever did
