The difference b/w Zoro and Sanji is, Zoro proved himself against Kaido before failing against King. So he has a better portfolio than Sanji. Everyone and their mothers with a half-working brain already know Zoro's AP shits on Sanji's, and by extension, we also know Sanji can't get past King's flame defense.

Zoro only landed one KoH attack on King and that put him down. King withstanding the other two CoC attacks from Zoro proves he is that good even outside his defense mode. However, we've been selling people this idea that King is a glass canon in his non-defense mode and that anyone could beat him as long as his defense is off. This chapter proves someone of Sanji's caliber couldn't damage him even if he attacked him with the intent to kill him outside his defense mode.

We all used to think most people could hurt King outside defense mode, but this chapter made it very clear it's not an easy business. This hype coming from Sanji is more ridiculous because you can't block Sanji's attacks just by being physically tough, you have to resist the heat too, which is something even Kaido couldn't do. All of this is news for all of us.

Portrayal suggests he can hurt king. King's bounty is marginally higher than Queen's. Sanji beat Queen in a relatively short period of time, suggesting that by the end of the fight, Sanji was significantly stronger than Queen.
Fights between powerful characters that are near equally strong can take days to resolve, Sanji vs Queen didn't.

Given how close King and Queen were portrayed, it doesn't make sense for Sanji to be much stronger than Queen, but still not be able to damage King. Especially when this chapter basically confirms that Queen himself could probably damage King. Lasers can damage lunarians, meaning that you don't need ACoC and high end heat attacks can also do the job.

Sanji has blue lightning-fire, this is something even ace and sabo haven't shown. This is one of the best heat feats in one piece.

True, they really try to downplay sanji by making excuses like adult lunarians are more durable then kids ( pure headcannon) or sanji random no named kick is actually one of his strongest moves.

It was clear one way or another that Sanji and Luffy were at least getting past Queen and Kaido's defense for us to assume they were accumulating damage. That didn't happen with Sanji and Jimbo, so we have to wait. Even the people testing the fight were more concerned about Franky than Sanji's enraged kick. Keep that for a record.

When it benefits their point like BB, a yonko doing no damage to seraphim with black hole its ok because they are supposed to be replacement for warlords, but when sanji just kicks him once with a random kick they start to make up excuses like its nobody's business.

Some people say that Sanji can't hurt Jinbei, but they forget that Zoro can't even hurt the king before he gets the CoC. Why do they ask DJ to hurt Jinbei effectively? If he can, Sanji will one shoot the king

Diable Jambe wasn’t doing 0 damage to queen. Queen admitted that he accumulated a significant amount of damage before ifrit.
