Weevil and Marco reunion is more or less set in stone, Sentomaru will have importance later the story cannot let him be a hype tool for Weevil. And Weevil can't loose his hype now loosing against the new toys. And the new pacifistas can't loose their hype for being strong enough to take shishibukai place.

It's Oda doing. You know how he does things.
Plus Marine strength is already distributed btween the forces to send to Wano, Mariejois and escorting the country heads safely back from Reverie meeting. And top of that Schibukai capture fleets.

So I think this is right opportunity to try the New Vegapunk creations and since it is also replacing Schibukai, they might turn out good.

Bt what i dont get is would Vegapunk creations would be used here only to get dehyped the very first appearance they make?
I guess somewhat weaker Schibukai might really have trouble facing these Weapons like Buggy obviously and maybe also Hancock.

Well Sabo was one of his boys too, along with Luffy and Ace. She already lost Ace so her hearing that Sabo died is certainely a hit to the heart for her.
