It's been made clear that unlike Doc Q or people like Cracker, Aokiji can indeed engage in close quarter combat, he fought for 10 days with Akainu. Akainu is a close fighter when he has to be ( like against Whitebeard where both were beating on each other ).
I had forgotten that sengoku was the one who ordered the buster call. Genocidal asshole is happily walking around and cracking jokes these days. He's the George Bush of one piece.
I don't care who switches, but it would be pretty nonsensical if none of the Marines came to the realization that they've been fighting on the wrong side this entire time.
Is there really a โrightโ side? What are your definitions of sides? There are evil/bully persons/crews on all sides/camps. There are exceptions on all sides/ camps. Other than the apparent destruction of the island Sabo was on is Imu evil? I donโt see absolutes or relatives. I see contradictions and exceptions to the rules. One big ball of confusion
I said Aokiji used his DF to freeze (abnormal status) his opponents. Just like how he did to Luffy, Robin, Whitebeard, Cracker etc.
Moves like that, when gets resisted by haki, doesn't cause any physical injury, it only eats stamina. Just like dr. Q's moves.
Meanwhile you tank Blackbeard's Gura Punch with haki and you still get damaged more than resisting Aokiji / dr. Q's power.
Luffy: "Jiji, that Nika guy from the Ancient Kingdom story you mentioned seems connected to my powers..."
Vegapunk: "Oh, now that you said this, let me reveal what devil fruits truly are. They are... They come from... The awakening is..."
Vegapunk: "...but most importantly, amongst all devil fruits the one named Yami Yami no Mi, the most evil of all, grants invincibility against all types of damage when awakened!! Only thing that could remotely stand a chance against that is willpower!!"
- Cuts directly to Law getting swallowed in a giant sphere of darkness as the cliffhanger
