My dude, Saul just got resurrected. I've noticed lately that Oda's been adding a lot of backstory stuff to different Strawhats, so I'm wondering about stuff he could do with other Strawhats' backstories. Nami is an orphan with unknown biological parents, so I wouldn't be shocked if they become plot relevant later on

Also this may or may not be relevant, but Oda said this in an interview about Film Gold

So since Oda's been introducing backstory stuff for so many Strawhats lately (Germa for Sanji, Saul being alive for Robin, Wano connections hinted with Zoro), what other backstory stuff do you guys think Oda will do with the crew?

I think we'll definitely get to see Nami's biological parents cause Oda likes her so much. They'll probably be evil bastards who hate her
Brook's backstory before he joined the Rumbar Pirates is one big mystery, so I could see that coming into play
And as much as I hate to admit it, there's a good chance Tom is still alive. Though at least with him it's pretty believeable that he might still be alive
I don't think there's anything Oda could do with Chopper's or Jimbei's pasts

Usopp's already got an unresolved plot thread with Yasopp so there's no need to introduce anything new for him

I'd say Franky. Franky's parents abandoned him because they were pirates. And there's a theory about one of Shanks's crewmembers is Franky's dad just like Yassop.
