Speculations One Piece is a Love Story

#1
In chapter 1066, after Vegapunk explained that the void century is the history of war between the ancient kingdom and 20 other kingdoms, Franky says something like “what a romance story”. This struck me as being a little odd. I know that many are saying that this is a reference to origin of One Piece etc. and not actual romance but I am not as convinced.

I feel like maybe the story has always been about love, romance, and betrayal. Maybe Joyboy or whoever the leader of ancient kingdom was, was in love with Imu or theor ancestor. Then he was betrayed and his kingdom was destroyed/erased from history.

You heard it from me first and here.

I am aware of this. Already mentioned in the post

The question is why was it called romance dawn if there is no romance
"Romantic" doesn't necessarily mean relating to love
