Leftists in my country blame our ruling party for arming ourselves and raising up ready to fight status for military.

Oh so for the past 30 years they knew Russia would attack Ukraine, but i guess they didn't think so far ahead, to realize that expanding NATO would be the cause for it lol

Who do you think even votes to join NATO? The people? No, the politicians. Le pen wants France to get ouf of NATO and she has quit alot of support. Around 70k people were protesting in Prague, against the government, and their standing to EU and NATO. But doesn't that contradict what you are saying? Because the Ukraine war is happening right now, shouldn't they be more scared than ever and be more pro NATO??

I am not saying that it's 100% that something like that never happend, it's a war, stuff like that unfortunately can happen. But going around and accusing the russian army of some sort of mass rape - well you gotta put some evidents behind that don't you think?

War capabilities are important. I say this as a reflection.
My country is not capable for war times and defense for prolonged period of time because of the weak politics performed by leftists who ruled before right wing took over.
Our military status was completely destroyed and we are almost unarmed unless USA decides to use us as guinea pigs and send some equipment.
I'm not behind starting wars, but you need to be ready for everything or you will end up like Ukraine beggin everyone for help.

Also you'd be in a massive debt after receiving aid from other countries. Even if Ukraine wins, they have to pay them back. And that's dozens of billions of dollars. With most of their country in ruins and the energy infrastructure destroyed on top of this. Ukraine is not rich, neither is Poland. It will take decades for them to pay this debt. Meaning the US basically owns Ukraine now if it doesn't fall into Russia's hands.
