I don't think I need to introduce the theory in question here since everyone and their grandmother know it by now.
Since both current and former warlords have their Seraphim versions, there is no doubt our Croco-boy has one as well. Since Seraphims are basically children now, if the "Croco-boy being a Croco-girl once" theory is true, his seraphim could be a female. Is this the way Oda will finally reveal that great secret Ivankov knows about?

I'd actually like this
I mean if this is the way Oda confirms the theory

Why there's such an obsession with female Croc? Seriously why??
Ivankov knows a secret about Crocodile, a secret that's embarrassing enough for Croco to let Ivankov blackmail him. Since Ivankov is a character with a power to change someone's sex, it's a very logical conclusion. Crocodile as a child from SBS looks very androgynous, and he is the only character that hasn't had his face shown in ch0/ep0 (he was shown only from behind, while characters like Doffy, Dragon etc. had their faces shown, why would Oda hide Croco's face?). That's the short version of it.
It's just a fun theory, nothing more.

I’m not against the crocodile is a woman theory; just don’t think there’s much evidence to it and not sure what it would add to crocodiles character if it were true.
There is more evidence to it than a lot of other popular theories.

I think his character is better suited to being a man than a woman.
That's exactly why I like the theory, in a story where most characters are some sort of overexaggerated caricatures with over the top quirks, crocodile just seems too regular and generic. This would add some spice to his character :funky:

Dude, if Crocodile was a Woman in Chapter 0 and the rest of his Early Life till then, then it's not a Secret, everyone saw him and knows it

The reason his Face was hidden can be spotted easily, it's his Scar obviously

Oda didn't wanna show his Face without Scar yet or he still didn't pick the correct timeframe for when it happened, so he hid Croco's Face to avoid any Future Plot Hole or more like Inconsistency

His Secret is related to his Backstory, he hates WG, he was Betrayed once, he knows Mihawk well and some of his Backstory, he has Knight Theme, he learned about Pluton and Poneglyph hidden in Arabasta, he hinted that he also heard about Poseidon, he met Ivankov before who is one of Revos Founders ... etc

What is the obvious Conclusion? Crocodile once worked in Mary Geoise as a Knight, it explains his Style, it explains why he acts like above others, explains why he hates WG, explains why his Backstory was never revealed even today, it explains why his Hand Only was cut clearly indicating a Punishment for touching something forbidden, explains how his Story is related to Revos, explains how he heard about Arabasta and Ancient Weapons, explains why Oda portrayed him as a Rival of Doffy who is Former CD ... etc

So please stop this stupid Woman Crocodile Theory, focus instead on discovering the Story of Mary Geoise

Do you know why Oda created Cross Guild with those Three? What do you think Buggy's next Gag Achievement is? Obviously not Pirate King but clearly he will sit on Empty Throne

Mihawk and Crocodile both know who is Imu (Its the person who betrayed them when they once were Knights in Mary Geoise)

This Arc is finally focusing on Mary Geoise, that's why we are being shown Cross Guild, Revos and Vivi thrown in the middle

U will soon see Croco's Secret and it's Big News, not a dumb extremely simply Theory like Croco was a Woman and is Shy about it

I like this part, where you describe him as the former knight of god as well as the celestial dragon.

Perhaps he and Doffy had met and known each other in Mary Geoise for a long time.

I didn't say it's a lot of evidence, i just said that there is more evidence than some other popular theories here :gokulaugh:

He might have pretended to be a man while still being a woman. Characters in stories are often oblivious to things that are obvious to us readers. There was also a real life woman pirate who did this (Mary Read).

Sounds great. It really does. But it has the same chance of being true as Croco being a woman does.

Often when people believe it's going to be some elaborate story like the one you have with Mary Geoise, Cross Guld, Mihawk etc. the explanation is much more simple and stupid.

Remember Duval? A mysterious masked figure who holds a grudge against straw hats? Is he someone from Luffy's past? Someone he previously defeated? Is it Gin? Does he know the secrets of the universe?
Turned out, dude just looked like Sanji's ridiculous wanted poster picture and he hated him for that.

Remember Killer? All the years of theories about his identity? Is he Sabo (prior to Sabo reveal in Dressrossa)? Is he Gin? Is he somebody else, somebody very important? Does he know the secrets of the universe?
Turned out, dude was just ugly, and wanted to hide his face because of it.

Remember the mysterious prisoner from Udon? Now who could that possibly be? Is it Scopper Gabban? Is it Rocks? Is it Gin? Is it somebody extremely important? Does he know the secrets of the universe?
Turned out, it was just a random frog dude.

And now:

Remember Crocodile's secret? Just what is it? Did he work in Mary Geoise as a Knight? Does he know Imu's identity? Is there a deeper meaning to his missing arm? Does he know the secrets of the universe?
Turned out, he just used to be a woman and is now embarassed about it.

See? It fits the pattern :funky::funky::funky:

It is very possible imo
