Honestly seeing his return made me realize how much I missed lucci. Seeing him just merc a Vegapunk made me more hype for him than anything Kaido did in wano or even anything Big Mom has done period.

It’s not flashy, it’s not super strong, but it just had such a ruthlessness that lucci does soooo freaking well.

lee33 Sasuke is a deuteragonist, A Deuteragonist is a character who gets Nearly the same amount of Focus as the Main character. One Piece does not have a deuteragonist like Sasuke so you can't really compare. Kishimoto would probably pace things a lot better tho. So you are right in that regard.

Then we can use Shikamaru as an example. Kakashi. Jiraya. Gara. Some any other characters. It has nothing to do with being a "deuteragonist" but instead it has everything to do with the writing style. If it aint Luffy, Oda is just going to offscreen it.

If Oda wrote the Sasuke vs Orochimaru plot, he would have offscreened it and then he would create a panel of Tsunade, Jiraya, Sakura and Naruto reacting to the news (second image below) but not reveal it to us for another 100 chapters.
