No, you're using one small detail in a panel where Zoro landed his strongest attack on Kaido and comparing it to Law. You're reading a visual medium, Oda is literally emphasizing the clash because it is important to establish Law as a near equal. Something he didn't think to do vs Zoro

This is what changing the goalpost looks like. You said Law is close to Luffy because he is fighting BB. Zoro fought Kaido with a broken body and outdid him in a direct clash, and left a scar on him. It's not a small detail. This is far more legit than whatever Law did to BB in a vulnerable situation or getting his attack blocked like nothing. Yamato had a ton of clashes with Kaido, but none of that proved she was equal to him lmao. It was a casual block by BB.

Why would Zoro didn’t one shot that swordsman from Hody’s crew and took him some exchange when we know for a fact he could finish it easily?
