That's annoying. Doesn't feel like Lucci deserves it considering how he's being handled, whereas awakening in Onigashima would've made any Beast Pirate battle more hype.

Lucci didn't even have awakening 2 years ago, and now suddenly he has it just because Luffy has it too.

Whatever he is doing during 2 years got him awakening.
Meanwhile Kaido and Calamities, the strongest zoan crew don't have one.

Think about it, Luffy has a Mythican Zoan God Devil Fruit, who is a mystery hidden even from the Book of the Devil Fruits (reminder that the Yami Yami no Mi is in there)

Luffy has Conqueror's and Conqueror's Coating
