Not really, Mythical zoans are way more special than awakening just by virtue of being a mythical zoan. Their powers are broken beyond belief. A mythical zoan made it so even fodder like Orochi could survive assaults from people way beyond his pay grade. That's how great they are. Awakening barely make a difference if the user is a fodder, which is proved all the way back in ID.

Mastering any skills speaks volumes. This isn't specific to awakening. That's a general idea that applies everywhere. Generally speaking, broken abilities are more complex and are harder to master while the biggest caveat about mastering awakening is the stamina consumption.

Fighting Roger and Garp doesn't make you more relevant. Chinjao has one ability that is specific to him, and Garp crushed him at his own game, so let's not act as if he was a rival to Garp or something. The guy's worth as little as 500 million while having his own army. He was essentially a 3rd rate pirate in the grand scheme of things. Conquerors aren't great just because they have conquerors. They worked their ass off to be where they are. King is the only known Lunarian and he worked hard to get to where he is. He far outclasses Katakuri and Doffy, both of whom were born with CoC and have awakenings. Take that for the record.

Yes being able to fight roger and garp in their primes definitely makes you a bigger deal.

You're living under rocks if you think Marco of all things isn't that special. His is by far among the most broken abilities in the verse. Not even CoC coating users are as special as Marco, forget about random CoC users. Marco was the stepping stone for BB to get the Yonko title. He played the same role Kaido played for Luffy. He may not be as good as Kaido but he was just as relevant in making BB a Yonko. And it makes him far more special and relevant than almost every other YC1. Look at what's happening to the BM pirates without Big Mom. You don't even need to crew to crush them lmao Marco fared much better and received loads of respect.

Their gives no excuses how bad Oda write the villians in wano. Like seriously, Lucci having awakening but Kaido and his Calamity not having it, is one of the most nonsense shit what Oda wrote in his manga.

I mean I understand Flying six, let say impel down guards been forced. So it make sense that Veteran lvl characters not have awakening.

But the hell why King,Queen and Jack not have it? Guys with bounties over 1b don't have awakening? Not even King a guy who is 47 and worth almost 1.4b, he don't pose awakening?

To add Kaido and Big Mom not shown awakening, imagine two Yonkou didn't show awakening... but Lucci pose awakening? I don't know what Oda smoked while writing Wano, but that shit was garbage.

Kaido and Big Mom should easily have awakening but none was confirmed or to have a awakened power.

Watch out that Smoker will also pose awakened power as other characters like Crocodile but Kaido and Big mom? Nope...

Yes I would have considered otherwise if Kuzan is just an ally but it is shown that he joined BB crew and Shiryu is clearly the second Strongest as per Oda's colorspread.

People built up too big of an image of Lucci to where they developed expectations that ultimately got shut down because they weren’t supplied with the story. Oda never said “Lucci is as powerful/more powerful than Luffy. Expect something big.”

It’s just how it is is. Luffy beat the “strongest creature in the world” and became a Yonko. It’s a title only 4 people in the entire One Piece world have. Luffy beating Lucci easily proves that he’s just that strong and has improved THAT much since his days in the East Blue.

He is one who should be feared by those who are trying to go after him and his friends. I can definitely see Lucci wanting to leave immediately after witnessing Luffy’s growth and their difference in strength.

Also, Oda really likes writing Gear 5 since he can make Luffy do wacky stuff.

They have a bigger impact on the plot overall. Marco was a key player at MF and was directly involved in two of the biggest changes that happened during the skip. And then he's involved in the Wano war and will continue to be relevant in the future.

King has seemingly has direct tiers with the Ancient Kingdom or at least Joy Boy. He's also linked to the Holy Land atop the Red Line. He's directly responsible for the shift in power balance by being the main component in creating the Shichibukai clones.

So far Luffy best move in G5 is bajrang gun. Did you think Luffy used bajrang gun against Lucci? Luffy G5 is a combination of g2, g3, g4. His form changed but he can change his physic looks like g2, g3, g4. So until pictures come, we have no idea what kind of attacks fluffy used.
