The fact that luffy just slapped him scrooge the room then started dialogue with sentomaru shows exactly how much he doesn't even rate Lucci.
However to be honest outside of combat luffys future sight while in gear 5 is terrible sense he didn't even see what Lucci was about to do to sentomaru

There’s a reason this man hunts for Devil Fruits and doesn’t just have his crew train Haki. Hell even Kaido’s whole strategy to become the Pirate King was literally based around him creating an armada of Devil Fruit users, not Haki masters, lol.
