How strong do you think luffy was post timeskip?
Because imo i think he was comfortably the strongest supernova and strawhat (even if we include jinbe) and comfortably in the commander range

While i do generally put doffy above him at the time even then I do think they were pretty close

Yeah g4 is pretty overpowering

solid high tier
would have beaten someone like jack right out of the gate.
had issues with katakuri and cracker based on matchup .

the moment he got past the pesky matchup mismatches
he blew those commanders out of the way in g4 .

no drawbacks...there is a reason G5 allows Luffy to be more free...having drawbacks again imply restrictions and no freedom...

Gear 4 was kinda okay tho. I liked the different forms, was hoping for a new one in Wano

I prefer Gear 2/3, but it's better than Gear 5 tho.

I imagine well see him g4 like attacks within g5

Awakening probably takes more energy to use like for everyone else so that might stop him from spamming it maybe
At the same time g4 likely uses more haki so idk

G5 is basically everything luffy can do but better

G5 do have serious looks ..like for example, last panel of this chapter or everything after chapter 1044/1045 against Kaido...it is just Oda likes to fool around with G5 and once he got his fill, he will draw serious G5 look....

good...that shitty haki drawback is irritating...partially ruined Luffy and his fights...

Fair point, completely forgot about how annoying that was.

the problem with gear 5 is luffy never seems serious , fights look completely childish
but it doesn't have a silly time drawback so its still better than g4

or just overall fatigue
acc to yamato he was already fatigued pre g5

He was already tired before but g5 likely just sped up the process

If their was no drawback to awakening theirs no reason for them to constantly use it. Kid and law's awakening was also taking up alot of energy to keep using

Rob Gucci is low top tier change my mind. No high tiers/commanders can clashed with G5 CoA Luffy equally and tanked some of G5 attacks and comes out unscratched/minimal injuries.
