Questions & Mysteries Why tf didn't Big Mom use haki against Law and Kid???
Not all advCoC attacks are the same: Yamato is not able to use internal destruction attacks and therefore her infused club attacks, even while greatly amplified in power, were still just blunt force attacks, that for example did nothing to hybrid Kaido. One CoC punch from base Luffy with internal destruction haki in contrary does more damage than a barrage of CoC club swings from Yamato against the same opponent.
Same here: BM seemingly nuked P1 with the same application Luffy uses, while also hitting a critical area of the body, whereas Kaido landed a body shot with "just" his club. It's pretty much similar to the difference between a Rokuogan to the face and a CoA hardened kick to the stomach.
CoC infused ID and sword attacks >>> CoC infused blunt force moves. The difference is so great, that Yamato is practically unable to defeat even non all out hybrid Kaido and that Kaido in general cannot be defeated by this attack type.
And therefore also not all of Kaido's CoC feats are representing what CoC in general is able to do, when put it into the other two attack types.

Because there would be no writable scenario where an ACoC user fully exerting ACoC coupled with her DF powers loses against two non-ACoC users.
Just like with Kaido not using Awakening, unwritable win scenario for Luffy. Oda needed to nerf the villains and give the SNs every advantage possible to even justify a bogus win.
That being said she did use CoA punches against Law and it barely added anything fight-wise.

We saw her use ACoC to reinforce her body multiple times
Big Mom doesn't use barrier haki very often or even hardening for that matter, because she uses most of her haki defensively.
Big Mom is casually and effortlessly doing what Law does below 24/7
And look at Law's words. "Devil fruit powers can be countered if you use a great deal of haki."
This is no simple technique, Law even struggles to pull it off. Yet BM is doing it constantly. Which is why her defense is so tough. And as we can see from the panels I posted earlier, she can and does put CoC into this defense. Which is probably why Speed said BM is using CoC despite us barely seeing her use the black lightning. Her haki is invisible, she is using the technique Law does to coat her entire body in haki.
BM is extremely large and has poor reaction time. If she didn't reinforce her entire body with haki the way she does, she would be an easy target. Kaido probably doesn't need to do it to the same degree as her as he is able to rely on Dragon's scales to boost his durability. Plus he is extremely fast.
