Chapter 979's official release on Viz is on May 10th.
There will be a one-week break (Oda's break), then chapter 980 released the week after, on May 24th. (May 22 for scanlation release)

Lul, I've been telling people Act 3 is going to be the longest act (over 30 chapters at least) by far. We are at 22 chapters currently with this chapter.

It didn't show:

- Law's side leaving to go the back of Onigashima
- It didn't show the Onigashima doublespread
- It didn't show Kid's costume change or being affected by it.
- It didn't show Usopp putting lookouts to sleep
- It didn't show Brooks little epic dialogue or the ships sinking
- It didn't show the Kaido mansion interior doublespread.
- It didn't show the Numbers, Mimiwarigumi, Onibawanshu or Big Mom's children being referenced by queen.


And the things we did get (Luffy and crew changing costume, Queen referencing Waiters/Gifters/etc) were posted at the normal times spoilers drop. We only got the Flying Six as initial spoilers and literally no summary last week.
