Agree. Gear 2-4 were straight killer modes but Gear 5 is just Luffy clowning around instead of whipping out the finisher that offed Kaido. Like Zoro has stated over and over again Luffy doesn't learn and Big Mom said the same about Kaido playing with his food.
If this had been another series the author would have had Lucci kill or severely injure Usopp to make Luffy understand he can't clown around in the New World and that incident would trigger Zoro to make a stand and leave the crew. I mean Kaido died because he played around, that should be the ultimate price in the new world.
Y'all heard that? Admirals' powers are virtually impossible to duplicate, whereas Lonko powers are either stolen like WB's or easily duplicated by a loser like Momoron.
Also, the equal of the guy beaten by half-dead Izo is still fighting off the guy who beat WSC.
