I'm looking for a shorter anime (around 12 or 24 episodes) with more serious themes, maybe mysteries and death

with good pacing and that makes you really invested with either the plot or the characters (preferably both)

anybody got any suggestions?
Have you seen Death Parade by any chance?
I would say Arcane or Edgerunners too. I used to know more series but my brain is lower function than usual right now.

Never seen, gonna look it up

I have seen Death Parade and Arcane, both are great

I don't really know about Edgerunners, i'm not a big of Cyberpunk aesthetics

I know everybody loves it, but i don't think it's my thing

Heaven‘s Door has entered the chat.

Do you think Rohan made it to the other world like Emporio did?
Lmaoooo Heaven's Door is great but absurdly strong too.

Hmmm, I'd like to think he did because he didn't die? Only people who died before the reset didn't make it to the new universe IIRC?

Since he was the authors avatar/expyuor self insert if you will, I was expecting him to reappear in Jojolion, a SBR counterpart St least but that's a different universe to the Irene one ofc.

Hmm, I'll assume he survived ad made it over anyway.

Its a very good question though.

That Rohan series, the spinoff is really interesting btw. Only saw the anime of it, so not all the stories but its a very different experience and works so well with the ajojo setting! The intro was fantastic to it too!

It can also just be a TV show / Movie

it doesn't need to be anime actually lol

have u seen school days :shame:

for the ones who missed it:

1071: Angel vs Demon
- Kizaru arives at Egghead by riding a canonball, he lands just infront of Zoro and Brook
- Zoro tells Brook to go and inform the other, he'll slow down the Admiral
- Zoro directly goes King of Hell mode
- Kizaru is impressed Zoro has advance CoC, but says Logia awakening is just as powerfull
- He uses his awakening, the entire area begins to shine and he turns into an angel like being completely made of light
- Kizaru: 'Let's see who wins, angel or demon'
- They both use a new powerfull attack and clash, the sky splits in half, half in darkness and half in light
- Chapter ends with Luffy sensing the clash and is amazed at Zoro's strenght, he thinks he and Zoro might be just as strong
Oda's notes: My christmas present for Zoro fans!
correction

‘’Zoro use Ashura Form as Super Ashura of Death with king of hell mode.

Kizaru use light sword and say it has being while someone kill my boredom.

Zoro and Kizaru clash and space and time spilt apart leaving luffy to have Enel face to withness zoro strength and say zoro is stronger than me.
