I still think both Zoro vs Kizaru and Zoro vs S-Hawk would be appropriate for after this Kaku business. Kizaru facing as many capable opponents as possible would be nice to see so even if Luffy vs Kizaru will be the highlight, I hope Zoro gets a clash to see where he's at relative to an Admiral and to make up for Sabaody. I keep hearing that the clash is short so if so then leaves room room other confrontations.

Bro why would they need Midd at Elbaf is a better question.

There are two options, Kid's meant to continue to be a rival figure to Luffy for a bit longer. So he'll be deeply involved in the plot until Luffy becomes the PK.
Two, Kid will suffer the same fate as Law and will lose his RPs to either Shanks or Buggy. I can totally see Oda making Buggy a contender for the PK title.
