Think about it; Nami, Usopp Robin, Sanji all betrayed Luffy. Now we need Zoro to do the same.

We thought Wano would be Zoro’s arc but in reality it was Sanji’s.

Shanks could team up with Zoro, they’ll be the greatest villain.

This would be the most trash anime ending ever. It's bad enough One Piece fans have died thinking Luffy had the Gomu Gomu no Mi, imagine if it turns out his best friend was actually his worst enemy too.

Zoro loves Luffy so much he is willing to give up his life and the ambition he shared with his childhood friend to save Luffy's life. Literally trash tier writing if Oda tries to pull this "strawhat betrays luffy but not really" for the fifth time in the story, except its with the one who is most loyal to Luffy.

Firstly, that would be an utterly garbage plot twist.

Secondly, a wanted man cannot collect a bounty so Zoro's plan would be completely stupid.

One hell of a plot Twist If luffy had to KILL zoro and shanks, "it's lonely at the top" would be a great phrase to embody It.

Every single one of them have dream they are chasing yet Loda never seems to care much about it. Just take a look how Fanky is being sidelined in the arc of VP for example, instead we are forced to read his mc shenanigans as if we didn't have enough of it in wano against Kaido
