The problem about wano is that was wrong at 365°. Narrative errors like not giving a damn about checkov's gun, bad use of red herrings, inconsistencies, 0 world building, flora and fauna thrown there without an inch of sense, poor art and a lot of thing that i can't resume in few words and all the bad things just starded from the first chapter of wano.
Exactly, don't even get me started on the world building/lore angles of it. We will be here for ages lmao.
Wano was like a buffet/fast food of an arc rather than the elegant banquet it should have been.
Quite ironic thats how the arc ended too, with a massive banquet but nobody cared for it except Jinbei, bless his soul. What an anti-climatic way to celebrate his joining the crew (although that reunion moment before Onigashima started and how he appeared were fantastic, especially in the anime too), liberating Wano from 20 years of tyranny, despair, famine and what not and the apparent death of not 1 but 2 Yonkos too! Goda!

Jinbei got done so dirty there, like Yamato and Carrot. Oda was just on a warpath, which is why he dropped those bombshells of Pluton being at Wano all along and Robin also knew all this time apparently, a much bigger, original version of Wano sunken underneath Wano for centuries now and god knows what else.
Then there was ponegylphs and the Kozuki, seastone, true name of Onigashima, Wano being the country of Gold or whatever, Nidai and whatever else too. Was this the country Hiriluk saw the cherry blossoms too? We'll probs never know now!
Should I even mention the lack of other Amatsuki and Amatsuki lore and same for Roronoas? Lack of Ryuuma storyline, Zoros unexplained resemblance to him and Ushimaru. Yamato not recognising Ushi in Zoro too?
Wano feels more like a brutal punishment than the ultimate fanservice arc we were meant to get. At least Kaido did some awesome shit and it was great for feats/fights/powerscaling but alas.
- Final page is an amazing tripple spread of empowered King of Hell Zoro stopping marines encaged in a beam of light making their way to Vegapunk. Kizaru, Chaton, Momonga and elite fodders drop from that light source

Indeed. I just hope Egghead won't be so awful in the end either. It started so well and it was a much needed breather after what we went through. But I'm scared Oda is gonna fuck it up and ruin it sooner or later. Depending on how long this arc goes for too. And then there's Elbaf, which I don't have any hope for regarding Usopp anymore either. Or at least much anyway.

Buy yeah if you think Oda is slow and baits than oh boy Gosho is already seven years ahead of his given date,releases 20 chapters a year,gives filler ,more focussed on movies and money but trust me the first 500 chapter of DC is some other shit altogether,later after end of biggest arc ,it becomes good from excellent,becomes stales for few arcs but is heat again now.
Detective conan gives you everything and since you will binge the slowest arc you will not feel much,so yeah give it one more chance. @EtenBoby I heard you were caught up with DC?your words on it
