Buy yeah if you think Oda is slow and baits than oh boy Gosho is already seven years ahead of his given date,releases 20 chapters a year,gives filler ,more focussed on movies and money but trust me the first 500 chapter of DC is some other shit altogether,later after end of biggest arc ,it becomes good from excellent,becomes stales for few arcs but is heat again now.
Detective conan gives you everything and since you will binge the slowest arc you will not feel much,so yeah give it one more chance.

PS;:Skip the fillers,they mostly suck and you will save around 400 episodes if you do so

Note to self: read the entire thing and not the portion I was tagged, was so confused at first since I have never discuss DC heroes with online friends

@Shimotsuki Ghostly anyway he’s right, early-mid stage Conan was the GOAT, amazing cases and story, has a bit of almost everything, music, comedy, idol, horror, you name it
I think you brought up anime and that it’s full of fillers? which is correct but in the early days the anime team was able to come up with some iconic cases and they are all worth a watch, same goes to the early movies
It’s a shame that nowadays the manga is being dragged out as hell for the movies and the anime original episodes are nothing but an insult to anyone with more than one brain cell
