If Luffy didnt ate his df then there’s a chance that he wont meet shanks! What would happen to Luffy if he didnt meet shanks? This is what i think!

Luffy already knew his dream! He already knew he wants to be a pirate before he even met shanks! This was seen many times in different versions of how luffy and shanks met in the anime.

Shanks was actually only a role model for luffy, Shanks taught luffy on how real pirate is, shanks also taught luffy about friendship, about promises and many more. Thats it and it wasnt Shanks or the df that he ate that influenced luffy to become free, because like i said luffy already knew it before this two came to his life!

Like woop slap said the old man from luffy’s village, he said that luffy is fated to become a pirate.

If he didnt met Shanks, or ate the gomu gomu no mi, I think luffy will still become a pirate, but probably he’ll become more like garp’s. Probably he’ll be piss off if somebody spit on him, or do some stupid stuff, but at the same time he will still be the same luffy that we liked.

No shanks, no pirates interaction , no dreams of pirate king. No kingly ambitions. No coc. No haki. Just a simple boy looking like a twig. Also who's brain dead.

Or at the very best he could have became a good navy vice admiral/captain. As garo intended to make him a marine.

Didn't the whole Pirate stuff came up because of shanks.
